Blog Post by Howard DeanOctober 1, 2003Last night, as I was on Jay Leno, I was thinking of all of you who have built this campaign. I really appreciate all you have done. I gave Jay a bat yesterday although I did have to explain what it signified. We have just gone through the most extraordinary quarter of any Presidential campaign in history. I thank you, but more importantly, the country will be better off because of you. This is like climbing Mt.Everest—the next stage is even harder, but if we all stick together, we will win!
